A humble tea light holder for a rainey Monday.

I have neglected my blog in my attempt to complete my CEUs on time. I am almost there - I have 107 CEUs, needing 125 by May 15th. Tomorrow I will complete my class on movie making, then I have another class on May 11th concerning homelessness - I am looking forward to taking this class. We will go to homeless shelters, eat breakfast with homeless people and in other ways explore homelessness. ("Where but for the Grace of God, go I . . .") I just put this humble tea light on my Etsy site.

WEdnesday and I am almost done with my CEUs!

Last night I discovered about 20 CEUs carefully tucked away in my looking-for-work portfolio. I am now up to 105.75 - I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and it looks great! (CEUs = Continuing Education Units.)

I think this year is about comparisons - for example, having to spend my week off of work doing my CEUs makes doing housework seem bareable. Having to work at SUper ONe makes subsituting seem not too bad.

Tonight I will attend ANOTHER CEU class on Google Sites. Also next week for two nights, a class on using the computer to make videos. THen after I finish my on-line classes, I will be done with CEUs and be able to have my life back!

Here is a pendant of a BOrder Terrier, not yet on my Etsy site. Perhaps tomorrow.

It is Winter, again, with all of the wind and snow. (Yes, I did say the s word.)

It is so cold in my house today! I woke up to snow. Yesterday was very windy, rainy and cold and today there is snow.

I finished grouting this vase a few days ago. I am pleased with how it turned out. I think it is time for me to leave the Moon behind for a while. My last two moon pieces are too dark for me. Perhaps today i will be able to grout them.

Thursday and it is supposed to be sunny today!

We are having an unusually warm spring. Today is to be sunny, though NOT warm, but that is okay with me as I'd love to see the sun again.

THis is what i worked on on MOnday. Another two for my moon series. (THe moon looked spectacular again last night - all full and golden.) I got two sides done on one and just one side done on the other.

Monday and today is an at home workday for me.

This is my "completed" Doctors Without Borders piece. I am debating whether I should grout this as well as if I should add something to the frame. Paint? A mosaic touch?

My project for today is to put our shelf back into our bottom cupboard. This shelf has fallen, perhaps a year ago! and I have decided today is the day I will put it back up. The shelf "brackets", if I can call them this, are the cheapest pieces of plastic that don't even fit in the holes, which is probably why this shelf fell down in the first place! I will try to replace these with pieces of bamboo - we'll see if I can get this to work!

Sunday, the First of April and today is foggy AGAIN.

Yes, I intended to shout "AGAIN" as at this point I am getting sick of the fog. It is only "cool" and "fun" for a short time, but I think it has now been foggy and damp for a WEEK. I'd like to see the sun . . .

Oh well, I can't do anything about this lack of Sun so I may as well get used to it! I don't think I'd do very well living in Seattle. Or LOndon.

Here is what i have been working on the last week. First is a series of coasters. I purchased the coasters at a garage sale last summer, (Or was it the summer before???). At this point I'd rather just get rid of these coasters as I am thinking BIG and Visual rather than small and useful. IN the center of the center is a pendant of a Border Terrier surrounded by small squares.

THe last image is of the Doctor's Without Borders donation that I am hoping I can complete today. I started this and then it just SAT there on my very crowded table, (sort of like the coasters!) until yesterday when I was inspired to just "do" instead of dwelling on the "how" of this project. I may end up painting the frame a bright color as currently the wood is just not going as well as I'd like it to. Just not zippy enough for me.
